Forest school
We have had a wonderful term of forest school with Mrs Powell and Mrs Osborne. There has been so much to discover and do! We have investigated mini beasts, signs of spring, took risks on the rope swing and hammock, built dens and so much more. But our favourite was roasting marshmallows by the fire! Yum yum
Exploring patterns
We have loved exploring the ideas of pattern making this term we have made pattern necklaces and bracelets made patterns with loose parts and with shapes…we have become pattern spotting masters!

Role Play
Role-play is at the heart of our classroom where children are free to embrace and re-tell stories, act out different situations and develop a variety of skills including their language, personal, social and emotional skills as well as their creativity. Role-play involves pupils being actively engaged and learning skills beyond the subject matter explored during the activity.
We really enjoy our role-play, we have lots of real objects, clothes, props and items to explore. Our home like role-play remains throughout the year and each term it is enhanced based on the children’s interests and ideas.
