Space Day
What an amazing day! We all had so much fun dressing up in our fantastic space outfits where we then got to visit each Key Stage 1 classroom where different space missions were waiting! We designed our own planets and solar systems using balloons and sponges, we built rockets out of fruit and made space biscuits and we even got to launch our own rockets!

We had so much fun when Joel the Scientist came to visit! We did some crazy experiments which helped us learn more about materials as well as a little bit about gas, liquids and solids!

Squirrel Class had a great time working with the Rocktopus musicians.

Geography – A walk to the Park!
Squirrel class enjoyed an early walk down to Pentylands park. We identified human and physical features of our locality along the way and also spotted lots of paws, claws and whiskers! We had our snack, playtime and a little chill out to summon our strength before we walked back up the hill!
