Owl Class: The Girls Victorian Day

For our Victorian school day Owl class transformed into the girls classroom. Both year 5 and 6 girls came together (once they had paid for their education that is). The girls enjoyed Mrs Beaton’s (A.K.A Mrs Christopherson’s)  baking session which was followed by music and a good old fashioned rendition of all things bright and beautiful. The girls then went out for some fresh air, followed by work in their copy book, handwriting, arithmetic and a reading lesson. After lunch the girls went on a nature walk and came back for a spot of water colour painting before we finished for tea and cake that the girls made earlier in the day.

Mrs Christopherson and Miss Briggs have never known such a quiet classroom…it was quite eerie!
